Grants for Blended ESL Classes

I teach ESL to low-income, Spanish speaking adults, usualy working mothers. My classes have been based on Blended learning for over 15 years, using my free website, pumarosa.com.

In a nutshell, I believe we should  focus on increasing the number of ESL classes to a Blended Learning mode. One method that has proven to be successful consists of two hours of teacher instruction accompanied by two hours of online homework, utilizing WhatsApp and other sites or platforms, such as Pumarosa. There are others.

If  government funding is an issue, then we should apply for Grants, such as from the Barbara Bush Foundation (https://www.barbarabush.org/, Google, Bill Gates, etc.

Adult education needs to embrace the use of technology at this time. I think that we all have had enough experience during the past year to convince anyone of "Integrating Technology" ...now!!
