Digital Literacy as a Pathway to Computer Science through Idaho’s Onramp Program

College of Western Idaho has partnered with Apple’s Community Education Initiative and On- Ramp to offer a digital skills pathway to computer programming. We will share how we connected our Adult Education and English as a Second language digital skills pathway to a computer programming certificate through this innovative partnership. From digital creativity, to application mastery, to coding for Apple’s Swift platform, students in this program participate in hands-on, challenge-based learning that prepares students for the digital demands of today's workforce.
