Michigan Adult Education and Training Conference - Call for Presenters!

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, Workforce Development (LEO-WD) invites educators, administrators, researchers and professionals in the adult education field to submit proposals for presentations, workshops and panel discussions for the 2025 Michigan Adult Education and Training Conference (MAETC). The conference will be held on May 6-8, 2025, at the Soaring Eagle Conference Center in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

This year’s conference theme is Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges and will focus on providing conference attendees with cutting-edge skills, innovative strategies, and fresh perspectives to empower adult learners. Whether you are an educator, tutor, support sta, administrator, or a partner from the workforce and community sectors, this is a great opportunity to connect, collaborate and create a lasting impact.

We are seeking engaging presentations that delve into adult learning techniques, transformative learning environments, partnerships, and actionable insights to empower programs to serve learners to the fullest.
