Implementing the 'new-ish' blended learning option to return to classes.

Colleagues,

I invite you to read the follolwing articles on a model of blended learning called blendflex (or hyflex) where students toggle between inclass and online space.

For example, you have a class with 20 students and the class is offered on Monday and Wednesday. On Monday, a group of 10 students are in class and a group of 10 students attend the course virtually, through something like zoom.

Then, on Wednesday, the students are flipped - those who attended class on Monday attend virtually on Wednesday.

Sound confusing? Or is this an example of how to serve students in the new normal.

After reviewing the articles, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Sincerely,
Kathy Tracey
