Often due to individuals living longer and changes to retirement benefits, workers over the age of 65 are the fastest-growing workforce segment. However, this workforce group frequently faces hurdles in securing, maintaining, and thriving in jobs. AARP indicates approximately one in five workers over 40 and one in four over age 60 have personally experienced age-related discrimination on the job (SeniorLiving.org, updated 4.11.2024 from 2022).
