Dear Adult Educator,
We’re pleased to announce that extended time GED Ready® practice test will be available to test-takers beginning Oct. 27. The extended time GED Ready® practice test is for test-takers who need an accommodation for extended time on the operational exam, which is the most common accommodation on the GED® test. Extended time accommodations are available to qualified candidates at 125%, 150%, and 200% what is allowed on the standard GED Ready® practice test.
How test-takers order the extended time GED Ready® practice test:
• Only test-takers who have indicated that they need to request modified testing conditions for their GED® test in their MyGED® account will see the option for the extended time GED Ready® practice test. No formal approval is necessary.
• When test-takers who have indicated they need to request modified testing conditions log in to purchase the GED Ready® practice test, they will see a link asking if they need information about the extended time GED Ready® practice test
• Test-takers who click on the link for more information about the extended time GED Ready® practice test will be given a Customer Support phone number to call and order the appropriate test
• This does not apply to Corrections at this time. Functionality will follow for Corrections test-takers at a later date
