One of the most feared subjects for adult learners is MATH, and for those behind the walls of our prisons and jails it often poses the most daunting challenge in ones journey through the criminal justice system. Join us as we explore best practices for teaching and learning mathematics behind and beyond the walls of our prison and jails. With limited resources, no internet access, few books, and scarce aids, teaching math can be daunting. This interactive event will discuss what works when teaching adult learners math in the carceral setting.
