Just kidding! I love a challenge like this! I'm thinking this type of problem would fit well with lessons on Pythagorean Theorem. This problem is great for the mathematical practice of make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. I have a motto in my class that harder just means more fun, and this problem looks super hard/fun! Thanks for sharing!

This one requires remembering assorted patterns an drules.   I can figure out DE distance and EF distance, and I could figure out the height of the purpleness if the 210 is area (it doesn't say) .... what's the relationship of the area of that triangle (again, assuming it's 210) to the area of the rectangle?
