Great news! I'm hoping that you might be interested in a brief video about the OECD Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) that was released in November, 2013. To help increase awareness of the PIAAC results and participate in the effort to generate solutions that address the needs of low-skilled adults in the U.S., please take some time and view this video with your colleagues and other stakeholders in your adult education communities. The video, prepared by the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES), describes the PIAAC results and its ramifications for the United States and provides information on the full PIAAC report. NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the United States and other nations. NCES is located within the U.S. Department of Education and the Institute of Education Sciences.
