Leveraging LINCS: Archived Discussions

Hi Everyone,

One way to leverage (use) the LINCS community is the ability to access archived discussions. We can use the search tool located at the upper right of the community home page to find topics of interest.

As we move into a new academic year, I thought I would highlight a great archived discussion from four years ago. The discussion, 3 Goals in One Lesson, was a three-community partnership based on a webinar delivered by Cynthia Peters on Where Math and ELA Skills Overlap. This is an important discussion as it showed ways to integrate academic skills during activities related to students’ interests and occupational-prep goals. Since we must make the most of our limited time with students, the lesson also blends math and reading skills. Please find supporting documents for the discussion here. Enjoy this blast from the past!

How do you leverage (use) LINCS to help you in your work?

Thanks for your thoughts,
