Celebrating Black History Month in your Science Classroom

Black History Month brings attention not only to the black scientists, engineers, and inventors who have inched forward the bar of progress, but also to those never afforded the opportunity to be heard, brilliant voices buried in history. By broadening our lens and affirming cultural relevance, we can increase student engagement and academic success.

How do you celebrate Black History Month in your science classrooms? What culturally relevant lesson ideas, activities or resources would you like to share with us?
