OpenSciEd materials

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has used the OpenSciEd materials in adult ed. There are an impressive array of materials for middle school science, which in my experience is a nice level for most adult classes. For example, there is a unit on thermal energy with videos, readings (sample), handouts, lesson plans, etc. The Chemical Reactions and Matter unit looks great too: sample reading on smell, My guess is that there is too much here for most adult ed classes, so we would have to pick and choose. I'm wondering if anyone has already tried any of this stuff.

Hi Eric,

Thank you for sharing this resource. In my opinion the level is perfect for our adult classes. I really like the simulation library. Have you used the simulations in class? I am looking for ideas. They have a nice Covid-19 spread across the community simulation that I would like to use.
