$12.6 Million in Grants Awarded to Help Improve Outcomes of Individuals with Disabilities in Vocational Rehabilitation and Workforce Development

The four Career Pathways for Individuals with Disabilities projects will address the dual issue of employers’ being able to find employees with necessary skillsets, and people with disabilities being unable to find employment.

These projects are located in the following state agencies:

  • Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency
  • Nebraska Department of Education, Division of Rehabilitation Services
  • Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services
  • Kentucky Office for the Blind, Department of Workforce Development

Are you working in one of these states?  If so, what are your thoughts on how you, or your agency, can best develop resources for supporting employees with disabilities in entering career pathways leading to in-demand skills, and sustainable employment?
