Association for Career and Technical Education to offer Post-Secondary Leadership PD

The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) has been given funding by ECMC Foundation, a national philanthropic organization, for a Postsecondary Leadership Success Program (PLSP). Learn more on ACTE's site.

The PLSP at ACTE will use more than $1 million in grant-funds to provide professional and career growth opportunities to the next generation of leaders at nonprofits and postsecondary institutions offering CTE programs.

ACTE will support two successive cohorts of 20 CTE postsecondary professionals in leadership development activities like creating a personal development plan, attending virtual and in-person professional development sessions, sharing best practices with the field and engaging with a mentor. The goal of the program is to help ECMC Foundation Fellows develop and refine their skills in organizational leadership and management; build critical skills in communication, collaboration, networking, problem solving and use of time/resources; and hone their ability to facilitate institutional change.

Mark your calendars: Applications will be made available in January 2019.  The deadline for submission is Midnight, February 3, 2019
