January saw some lively discussion in the Career Pathways community. Members contributed to discussions about the use of Linkedin as a networking tool. There was also continued conversation on workforce development policy for adult educators.
I posted a recent discussion of a debate over the addition Pell Grants for short-term, career training. I'm curious about members' thoughts on how these may impact adult career pathways.
On a related note, have you seen the thread on updates to StudentAid.gov? Share your ideas about how you teach learners about accessing federal aid for post-secondary programs. If teaching student aid isn't part of your curriculum, but you're interested in discussing ideas, let me know!
