Join us for the Learner-Centered Practices in IET in Corrections Webinar, 8/29/24, 3:30-4:30 pm ET

The Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education (OCTAE) is delighted to invite you to a live webinar on Learner-Centered Practices in IET in Corrections on 8/29/24 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm ET hosted by the ADVANCE IET federal initiative. Register here today!

The ADVANCE IET project is pleased to be joined by Michelle Tolbert and Jessie Stadd from RTI International to share lessons learned from the IET in Corrections project related to developing practices and programs that center learners who are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated. They will describe the learner experience—from pre-enrollment to reentry—and engage participants in an empathy mapping activity. Panelists from states and correctional facilities will share their experiences and lessons learned with learner-centered program design, gathering learner input, and preparing learners for employment after release.

This event is open to all adult educators – please invite your colleagues! Registration is required.
