JP Morgan Chase: New Skills at Work Reports

Earlier this spring, I mentioned JP Morgan Chase's (JPMC) investment in a five-year workforce readiness and training initiative. As part of the New Skills at Work Initiative, JPMC is partnering with the White House to use local workforce research data on the challenges facing the long-term unemployed.

JPMC and has recently published nine New Skills at Work reports, each presenting data from these U.S. cities: Chicago; Columbus; Dallas; Detroit; Houston; Los Angeles; Miami; New York; San Francisco.  These are excellent resources for information on regional economic assets, trends, and recommendations for career pathways supporting middle skill job opportunities.

Check out these individualized reports and see what the data has to say about supporting career pathways in these urban areas.
