The Career Pathways and Postsecondary Transitions and the Correctional and Reentry Education groups are excited to hold a live Zoom event on July 17, 2023 at 3 pm ET -How to Build Effective Workforce Partnerships and Align Programming for Justice-Involved Individuals.
Charla Plaines, Reentry Coordinator at PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency and Dorenda Harmalund, Workforce Development Specialist at PA Department of Corrections and Parole Board will share different approaches and tools that have been used to help WIOA core partners and other community partners work together effectively to support justice-involved individuals with education and training that aligns to high priority occupations and promising career pathways. Adult education practitioners will leave this event with resources to help them better align services to their local, regional, and state WIOA Combined Plans and better serve justice-involved individuals.
