LINCS seeks Moderator for LINCS Professional Development Community of Practice

Colleagues,

You may be interested, or know a colleague who may be interested, in the part-time, paid position below.

===================

The LINCS community of practice for adult education practitioners is a professional learning space that brings together adult educators to work together toward one common goal—providing high-quality, evidence-based learning opportunities to adult students. Our community is a place where the field can seek help, collaborate, network, share knowledge and resources, participate in special events, and grow professionally. LINCS is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education (OCTAE).

Group moderators play a critical role in ensuring we support our members and provide rich and engaging discussions and learning opportunities. The LINCS Community of Practice has a current opening for one moderator to moderate the Evidence-based Professional Development and Science groups. Ideally, this position would be filled by one individual with expertise in online moderation and content expertise in professional development and knowledge of science. Moderators should also have knowledge of adult education and learning and familiarity with LINCS.

If you fit the above description and are interested in applying for the moderator position, consider applying. Applications are due on August 8th.

Moderators will work under contract with Manhattan Strategy Group, which manages the community (through a subcontract to Kratos Learning Contract No. ED-VAE-14-C-0123). Moderation duties will begin on September 1st. Please contact Jessie Stadd at jstadd@manhattanstrategy.com with any questions.
