The most recent COABE journal focuses on Racial Equity and Immigrant Integration. I'd like to focus this discussion on the article A Shared Visioin for Racial Equity Syst4ems Innovatins for Social and Econonic Justice.
While the journal is exceptional in its scope, this article focuses on the intentionality of leadership priorities and priortizing IETs as an equity issue. While the emphasis of this article is system change, it also speaks to the need to align instructional and program services with the local institution's mission and vision and keeping racial equity at the forefront of the decisions.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the interview from the authors Monica A. Wilson and William Durden and then invite a discussion on how you prioritize racial equity at your program.
