Local adult education programs help adult learners develop knowledge and skills, gain secondary credentials, and transition to further education and employment. Such programs have helped adult learners who have faced unemployment due to the pandemic learn new skills to return to work safely. Join Melissa Zervos and the LINCS Community Program Management group to consider some of the innovative and promising practices implemented by Adult Education and Family Literacy Act local programs, identified through the U.S. Department of Education Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education’s Advancing Innovation in Adult Education program.
