Join Russel Fraenkel and Lesley Blicker to learn about Minnesota’s Dev Ed/Adult Basic Education (ABE) partnership model for two-year colleges. This model pairs Dev Ed and ABE instructors in developmental education and gateway courses to demonstrate a commitment to address essential equity work. The partnerships have led to significant student improvement for developmental education students, which are often from historically underserved populations and BIPOC communities. We will share highlight the practices of this model (based on national best practices) and share strategies for adoption or expansion.
