Call for Proposals for 2018 National Rehabilitation Education Conference

NCRE/RSA/CSAVR Fall 2018 Conference – Call for Proposals Now Open!

On behalf of The National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE), Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), and Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR), I am pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2018 National Rehabilitation Education Conference to be held in Arlington, VA on Thursday, October 25 - Saturday, October 27, 2018 is now open.

NCRE is excited to announce a special added feature to this year's conference. The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on VR Practices and Youth will offer a unique set of State of the Science sessions related to delivering quality VR services to youth. The RRTC is partnering with several technical assistance centers to conduct sessions that address key challenges and suggest useful strategies for VR practitioners and educators. Themes include staff competencies needed to providing service to youth and young adults, using evidence to improve VR practices, and the VR role in inclusive higher education. Proposals are now being accepted, based on the conference theme of "Employment and Social Inclusion: The Impact and Role of Rehabilitation Counselors"
