It was great meeting so many people at this year's COABE Annual Conference! Yesterday, we had a great session on, "Efforts to Support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) via the LINCS Community."
On April 14, 2022, ED released the Equity Action Plan as Part of Biden-Harris Administration's Efforts to Advance Racial Equity and Support Underserved Communities. This press briefing outlines the plan.
The detailed action plan can be found here. Following the release of the plan, ED will host a listening session on May 17, 2022, which will be led by senior agency officials to hear feedback on the equity action plan. More details on the listening session to come.
