September is National Recovery Month and Suicide Prevention Month

September is National Recovery Month and Suicide Prevention Month.  During September,  Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) aim to increase public awareness about mental health and addiction recovery.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) provides resources to spread hope and share information to support those affected by suicide.
