LINCS moderator, Kathy Olesen-Tracey, and I will be presenting on Motivational Interviewing (MI) through a Trauma-Informed Lens: Using MI to Support Adult Learners' Resilience on Monday, April 11th, from 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM EDT. This is a hybrid session.
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a powerful tool to help adult learners identify and clarify academic, career, and personal goals. Come discover how MI can be used to help understand learners with a history of trauma and create safe and accessible learning routines and environments that support their goals. Participants will gain a basic understanding of MI and have the opportunity to role play how it can be effectively used to support resilience in adult learners.
