Veterans who suffer multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) are twice as likely to report suicidal ideation compared to others. In recognition of Memorial Day, I invited Dr. Cindy Cai, Principal Researcher with the American Institutes for Research to share her work on the Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC). The MSKTC website offers free, research-based resource guides on TBI, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and burn injuries, for survivors and their support networks.
