Please join the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Community Living (ACL) and the Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) for Pathways for Partnership, an informative webinar that will bring together for the first time vocational rehabilitation (VR) agencies, centers for independent living (CIL), and special education to launch forward competitive integrated employment for students, youth, and young adults with disabilities.

We are excited to share our commitment at the Federal Level to collaborate across agencies on planning, training, and technical assistance (best practices, etc.) to increase opportunities for competitive integrated employment.

Facilitating the conversation among representatives of VR agencies, special education, and CILs in states where partnership has proven successful will be:

  • Julie Hocker, Commissioner for the Administration on Disabilities, and
  • Mark Schultz, delegated the authority to perform the functions and duties of the Assistant Secretary for OSERS.

Partners who have launched change at the local level will highlight how they built their partnerships and how collaboration has led to successful outcomes, including competitive integrated employment, for students, youth, and young adults with disabilities. The information shared in this webinar will provide the information you need to develop new and expand existing partnerships in your states!

Stay tuned for follow-up registration/access information to participate in this webinar.
