Hello colleagues, There are so many controversial topics that can come up in an adult education classroom. I have learned that it is important to establish some classroom norms or guidelines to ensure that conversations that take place in class are respectful and safe for everyone.
Have you ever had to handle challenging conversations in class? How did you handle it? Do you have recommendations to share on how to handle such controversies when they arise? What has worked well for you?
