PIAAC Literacy Circle
The PIAAC Literacy Circle micro group was created with a single mission in mind: to increase the availability of research-based reading and writing resources that promise to accelerate the preparation of adult learners who face challenges becoming functional at home, in their communities, and at work.
Adult literacy practitioners (teachers, lead instructors, professional developers, and program administrators) are invited to incorporate relevant tools from PIAAC’s literacy framework to frame reading and writing instruction around activities that engage adult learners as they strive to succeed in life environments of their choice.
