How do I change my email address?

If you’re not currently signed in, to change which email address you’re using, please visit https://auth.lincs.ed.gov/ and follow these steps:

  • Sign in with your current email address and password, then once you’re signed in, look for the section titled Edit Your Personal Details. Click to expand the section.

  • Once the Edit Your Personal Details section is expanded, you can change your email address by directly editing the Email Address field. Then click Save.

  • You’ll see a confirmation message that says “This email address is unconfirmed. Please confirm it using the verification email sent to yournewemailaddress. Until you confirm it, all emails will continue to go to youroldemailaddress.” Just below that, you’ll also see the message “Account updated successfully. It is highly recommended to close all tabs and restart your browser at this time.”

  • Look in your email inbox for an email from communitysupport@lincs.ed.gov with the subject line “LINCS Login - Email Verification”. In that email will be a link that begins with http://auth.lincs.ed.gov/ — this link can be used only once, and once it’s clicked your new email account will be active for your account. Until you click this link, your email account has not been changed.

If you’re already signed in to the Community, follow these steps to change your email address:

  • select My LINCS from the navigation bar near the top of the page.

  • Then, click the Profile tab.

  • Click the Edit my profile button, then the Account tab.

  • Click the link that says Change email address.

  • This will bring you to the LINCS account sign-in page, where you’ll see a section titled Edit Your Personal Details. Click to expand the section.
