Coming Soon! Digital Badges in the LINCS Community

The LINCS Community is adding digital badges!

These colorful images will appear on the posts, comments, and profiles of registered LINCS members as they reach milestones – like publishing their first post or authoring their 100th comment. User posts and comments in public, private, and micro groups all help earn digital badges, and badges will automatically update as users reach new milestones!

Digital badges are one small way for LINCS to recognize its members for their contribution to our vibrant adult education community. LINCS hopes it will also encourage greater participation from members new to the LINCS Community.

If you are a registered LINCS member, digital badges will appear next to your username on your future and previous posts and comments.

On Tuesday, May 28, simply log into the Community to see your current badge. If you don’t have a badge – don’t be shy – share your thoughts in new post or a comment and you’ll earn your first digital badge!

As always, if users experience any problems or confusion with the badges, don’t hesitate to check out this helpful How-To Guide on creating a new discussion or commenting on an existing discussion. And if you still need help, use the Contact Us form!

Happy posting!
