Don’t Miss: LINCS CCR Standards Event Starts on Monday!

Event Title: Creating Questions worth Asking
Event Type: Online Discussion
Date(s): May 16-20, 2016

Dear LINCS Community members,

The CCR Standards event on Creating Questions Worth Asking will take place in the College and Career Standards group. National (English language arts) National ELA/literacy coaches Lori Forlizzi and Kate Crist will kick off the conversation with an introduction to the importance of evidence and the role of text-dependent questions.

Through a series of posts next week, Lori and Kate will present information on why text-dependent questions are important for college and career readiness and a description of how to develop effective text-dependent questions. The event will end with a practice activity using a sample text to help prepare community members to create “questions worth answering”.

Many thanks for your interest and involvement in LINCS.

We look forward to interacting with you next week!
