Greetings, Members!

Please join us for an informative discussion with special guest Cindy Higgins exploring creative ways for increasing student success among diverse populations (especially those raised in traditional Native American environments and similar cultures).

Cindy is a Navajo professional who grew up and currently lives on the Navajo Reservation in Utah. She is the Senior Educational Specialist at Utah State University, Eastern in Blanding, Utah where she administers the USU Four Corner's Teacher Education Outreach for individuals who are interested in a obtaining a degree in Teacher Education and Administration. USU-Eastern serves a predominantly Navajo student population.

With the goal of identifying creative practices for engaging diverse populations in academic pursuits, especially among American Indian/Alaska Natives and similar populations in the United States, this event will be particularly relevant for researchers, tribal representatives and leaders, college instructors, teachers, administrators and staff serving this diverse population.

Please be sure to join in the conversation, share your insights, and forward this announcement to a colleague.

Best Regards,

The LINCS Community Team
