Happening Now: Intensive Skill and College Readiness Programs at Community Colleges

The Intensive Skill and College Readiness Programs at Community Colleges discussion begins today! This special activity will discuss strategies used in reducing the amount of time adult learners spend in developmental education classes.

In support of this effort, the LINCS Postsecondary Completion Community of Practice is hosting a discussion November 7-11, 2016, 9am-5pm (ET). The discussion will provide a range of strategies and models for success based on the U.S. Department of Education’s Supporting Student Success project. This is the second of three discussions being hosted by practitioners involved in this project.

The conversation will be moderated by Mat Favre from St. Louis Community College and Kaitlyn Kos from Gateway Community College. Gateway’s programming focuses on assisting students via a Boot Camp and St. Louis Community College will provide more insight into their Academic Learning Academy. Tune in for more!
