Voting is open for the SXSW EDU 2019 PanelPicker! Every year, SXSW asks the public to vote on which session ideas to bring to SXSW EDU in Austin, Texas. The Power in Numbers initiative wants to share how OER can transform learning outcomes in adult education. We encourage the LINCS community to vote for the Power in Numbers panel here.
If the panel is selected, Dr. Jo Boaler, Professor of Mathematics Education at Stanford University, and Christina Ward, Power in Numbers team lead, will discuss how OER can serve the unique needs and learning styles of adult learners. They will present insights from our 33 user group members who curated, designed, and piloted OER and empower educators to start using OER in their own classrooms.
