Notice for Implementing College and Career Readiness Standards in Adult Education Solicitation

The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Vocational & Adult Education (OVAE) is seeking a contractor for the new procurement, Implementing College and Career Readiness (CCR) Standards in Adult Education. This project will support the development of educational programs able to better prepare adult students for postsecondary and career success through the adoption and implementation of the CCR Standards for Adult Education - https://lincs.ed.gov/publications/pdf/CCRStandardsAdultEd.pdf.  

This project will develop and deliver affordable, multi-leveled training and technical assistance for all states and programs to address how adult education can best integrate the CCR Standards for Adult Education into its programs. Various training and technical assistance opportunities will be provided to states and programs through virtual and face-to-face learning environments. The Department is seeking input on the draft performance work statement before May 10, 2013 and invites interested parties to attend a market research webinar on May 6 at 1:00 pm ET.
