Let’s Talk: Examining Adult Learners Awareness/Attitudes Towards Disabilities!

Event Title: Adult Learners’ Awareness and Attitudes towards Disabilities

Event Type: Online Discussion in the LINCS Community

Event Location: The Disabilities in Adult Education group

Date(s): August 10 – 13, 2015

Greetings LINCS Community,

Please join us this morning for an informative discussion on adult learners’ knowledge of classroom accommodations, impacts on English language learners, and shifting perceptions of disability across learners’ academic histories with special guest Dr. Margaret Patterson of Research Allies for Lifelong Learning.

This event will be particularly relevant to teachers of learners with disabilities, program administrators who are responsible for ensuring learners have access to both learning and physical accessibility accommodations, and researchers seeking to better understand the Adult Transitions to Learning survey results.

Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!
