Meet the Advancing Equity in Career and Technical Education Group

On Monday, March 19th, from 3-4pm ET, join your colleagues for an introduction to a new LINCS Community group: Advancing Equity in Career and Technical Education. This group supports educators in promoting equity in career and technical education (CTE) and addresses equity barriers in program enrollment, participation, and completion.

Interested? Join the webinar to learn how your state agency, school district, college, adult education program, or postsecondary institution can access technical assistance and evidence-based supports to address equity in CTE. Attendees will learn how to:

  1. Use LINCS to network with colleagues through a dynamic Community of Practice.
  2. Access and implement technical assistance from Subject Matter Experts who can help address equity problems.
  3. Access equity-focused tools and resources selected by equity experts.

Attendees will also learn about the upcoming 2018 National Advancing Equity in Adult, Community College, and Career and Technical Education Symposium, an in-person forum that will engage thought leaders in secondary, postsecondary, and adult education to develop and advance solutions to issues of access and equity.

Kathy Hughes, the project director, will present, along with Steve Klein, Director, Career and Adult Education and Workforce Development, RTI, and Dr. Lakshmi Mahadevan, Associate Professor & Special Populations Specialist, Texas A&M University.

Register today! (After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.)

See you there!

Thanks,

The LINCS Team
