In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the new LINCS Community, we are pleased to announce that we have recently implemented three new features: a quick link to your personal groups from the Groups tab, a view count for posts, and “sticky” posts.
To quickly view all of your groups, click on the Groups tab, then on the “View all of my groups” link in the top right corner below “My Groups.”
When you are viewing a discussion post within a group, you can see how many times the post has been viewed by other members by scrolling to the bottom of the post. You will see text indicating “This post has been viewed # times.”
You also may have noticed that a few discussions in each group always remain at the top of the screen, with a pale blue background and the bolded word “sticky.” Sticky posts are discussions that the LINCS team deemed especially important to the group. Check out these discussions if you have not already!
Moving forward this fall, the LINCS Community team is developing and testing more technology updates to the website, which will be rolled out early next year. Stay tuned for more details! As always, please use the Contact Us tab to provide your suggestions or ask a question.
