Webinar Date/Time: February 23rd, 2:00-3:15 PM ET

Dear LINCS Community,

LINCS is pleased to announce a new professional development opportunity, “Using the Adult Education Teacher Induction Toolkit to Mentor New Teachers.” Local programs can use the Toolkit to customize a mentoring program to support new or less-experienced teachers.  This webinar is offered by Regional Professional Development Center 1.

Join Jane Meyer and Heidi Daniels—both staff from programs that have piloted the Teacher Induction Toolkit—for a webinar on February 23rd, from 2:00 – 3:15 PM ET, where they will share their experiences with teacher induction and using the resources in the Toolkit. Webinar participants will learn about how teacher induction plans can be customized, how the Toolkit can be used to support teacher induction efforts, and lessons learned from the field.

There are two pre-webinar activities intended to bring participants up to speed on teacher induction and new teacher mentoring. Prior to the webinar, please read the Conditions for Success in Teacher Induction Information Brief, and review the Canton City School District Adult Basic and Literacy Education New Teacher Mentoring Program Overview and Schedule.

Register for this upcoming webinar. We look forward to seeing you February 23rd at 2 PM EST!

Sincerely,

The LINCS Team
