Be a part of a new opportunity to build LINCS’ assessment resources!

What’s going on?

LINCS is assembling a small cohort of users tasked with identifying and reviewing online formative assessment tools for adult education classrooms. Formative assessment tools are defined as instruments that allow a teacher to adapt their teaching strategies based on the data they collect. Assessment expert, trainer, professional developer, and classroom teacher Marie Cora will be leading this activity.

What would I be doing?

Members of the cohort will use and analyze one formative assessment tool a month for three months. Members will then review the tools, describing their experiences with the tools in a classroom setting.

Group members will review their assigned resources and contribute to facilitated conversations within the cohort about their experiences using the tools. Reviews will be collected in a catalog to be shared online with the LINCS Communities of Practice.

When is this happening?

The project will run from January through April, beginning with an orientation webinar on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm EST.

What should I do if interested?
