Register Now for the Employability Skills Framework Webinar

Mark your calendars!

Monday, December 1, 2014 begins our week-long event exploring connections between the Employability Skills Framework and the ABE College and Career Readiness Standards.

From December 1-5, the LINCS Community will join special guests Dr. Kaye Forgione, Meredith Liben, Frank Scuiletti, and Dr. Robert Witchger for Implementing the Employability Skills Framework in the Adult Basic Education Classroom: Webinar and Discussion.

Individuals require many skills to be college and career ready, including academic knowledge, technical expertise, and a set of general, cross-cutting abilities called employability skills. Featured speakers will share why these employability skills matter for adult learners, and present strategies and resources for incorporating them into the ABE classroom.

Please join us in the College and Career Standards group for the special discussion, ask questions, and share examples of how you are teaching employability skills in the classroom. Then, tune in to the webinar on December 3 at 3:00 p.m. EST for a deeper dive into the Employability Skills Framework. Register for the webinar here.

If you have questions about the special discussion and webinar, please contact Laura Rasmussen Foster of RTI International at lrasmussen@rti.org.

We hope you will join us for both of these events!
