The Power in Numbers initiative and LINCS Professional Development Center will share insights from working with 37 educators over the past year to curate and design OER for adult math. We’ll discuss how OER can serve the unique needs and learning styles of your adult students, and what you need to know to start using OER in your classroom.
Brooke Istas, instructor of mathematics for Cowley College and LINCS moderator, will present how educators can discover, adapt, and apply OER resources. She will share insights on which platforms and communities to join for exploring OER and accessing support, as well as recommendations for best integrating these resources into teaching plans.
