[Reminder] Join a focus group on the LINCS Learner Center!

Attention adult education professionals!

Have you visited or used the LINCS Learner Center? Do you have ideas about how the LINCS Learner Center and its online resources can be shared more widely with adult learners, prospective adult learners, or anyone who can benefit from its resources? Tell us about it! The LINCS Resource Collection is looking for a focus group of up to nine adult education instructors and program managers to participate in a user feedback session specific to the LINCS Learner Center.

Currently, the Learner Center offers resources in English and Spanish, is easy to navigate and is strategically divided into six goals: Learn Math, Learn Science; Learn to Read; Learn English; Get Job Skills and Become a Citizen. It is designed to connect adults to freely available online resources that can help them attain their education, language, and career goals.

Adult educators play an integral part in using and promoting the resources housed in the LINCS Learner Center. LINCS is hosting a user feedback session to garner advice and input on how the Learner Center can be improved, recommendations for additional resources, as well as ideas on how to increase student awareness of the Learner Center.

If you are interested in joining this virtual listening session, please send an email to Megan Janicki at mjanicki@manhattanstrategy.com and include:

  • your name;
  • the name, city, and state of your program or organization;
  • the classes, levels, and student populations you teach or focus on; and
  • why you are interested in participating in this listening session.
