CrowdED Learning is a free and easily accessible source of learning tools that helps reduce barriers for adult learners’ education and employment while encouraging them to become persistent, lifelong learners in the digital age. This activity will introduce you to CrowdED Learning and provide you with opportunities for hands-on application. If you work directly with adult learners, offer English Language Learner (ELL) instruction, provide Adult Basic Education (ABE), or manage adult education instructors, please make time to visit the LINCS Community’s Reading and Writing Group, Professional Development Group, Integrating Technology, or English Language Acquisition Group today!
CrowdED Learning Founder and Director Jeff Goumas will lead a discussion and provide hands-on opportunities for participants to use www.CrowdEDLearning.org and its thousands of high-quality free and open (OER) resources. CrowdED Learning’s web-based tools represent a growing collaborative initiative among adult education service providers, publishers, and developers that is designed to make it easier for instructors and students to freely access research- and standards-based content in all learning domains targeting adult learners at all levels.
Participants will learn how CrowdED Learning can help instructors and tutors create personalized learning plans aligned to the College & Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education and TABE 11/12.
How to participate?
Anyone can visit the LINCS Community, but only members can contribute. Please join the discussion by first joining the Reading and Writing Group, the Professional Development Group, or the English Language Acquisition Group , and Integrating Technology (or join all four!).
We hope you’ll share this event with your colleagues!
