Tomorrow: Re-Visioning Instruction and Support at Community Colleges to Support the Whole Student

The Re-Visioning Instruction and Support at Community Colleges to Support the Whole Student discussion begins tomorrow! This special activity will discuss strategies used in reducing the amount of time adult learners spend in developmental education classes.

In support of this effort, the LINCS Postsecondary Completion group is hosting a discussion December 1-8, 2016, 9am-5pm (EST). The discussion will provide a range of strategies and models for success identified through the U.S. Department of Education’s Supporting Student Success project. This is the last of three discussions being hosted by the project.

Participate in the discussion now by posing your questions and comments!

The conversation will be moderated by Dianne Lee, Academic Lead of the Workforce Solutions Group, at St. Louis Community College and Jordan Herrera, Director of Social Services at Amarillo College. Both programs feature a holistic student approach towards completion and retention.
