Dear LINCS Community,

LINCS is excited to announce its next discussion: “Research on Using Technology in Adult Basic Skills Learning.”

From May 9 – 13, a panel of researchers will focus on recent adult basic education research on technology. Discussion topics will include:

  • problem solving in technology-rich environments,
  • findings on the use of online learning to support literacy and math skill development in low-skilled adults, and
  • how adult education teachers, program managers, and learners are using technology for learning.

Panelists will discuss major national studies on the use of technology in adult basic and secondary skills learning and how to turn research into action.
