Join two state leaders and the LINCS Professional Development (PD) Center on April 11, 2018, at 1pm EDT for the webinar Implementing Content Standards in Adult Education: Two States’ Stories

Beverly Wilson, Director of Professional Learning, Arizona Department of Education, and Christine Houck, Advisor, Pennsylvania Bureau of Postsecondary and Adult Education, are our featured guests. They will share:

  • Their states’ motivation to commit to full-scale implementation of standards;
  • What it has meant in terms of time and money;
  • The significance of using a strategic implementation plan;
  • The benefits of participating in OCTAE’s Standards-in-Action (SIA) project; and
  • To what they attribute the success of their states’ implementation efforts.

During this webinar you will also hear about the SIA training activities and technical assistance services that are now available through the LINCS PD Center.  Expert standards trainers/coaches from OCTAE’s SIA project are available to provide training and technical assistance to support your state’s efforts to implement standards for math and ELA/Literacy.

Training and technical assistance for sustainability planning are now available—so join this webinar to hear from experienced implementers and to see how your state can get involved.
