Webinar Invite: Making Open Educational Resources Work for You

Join the Power in Numbers initiative and LINCS Professional Development Center on Thursday, June 14th at 4:30 PM EDT for a live webinar on how to use open educational resources (OER) to improve learning outcomes.

For the past year, Power in Numbers has been working with 37 educators from 21 states to curate and design OER for adult math. The Power in Numbers team will discuss how OER can serve the unique needs and learning styles of your adult students, and what you need to know to start using OER in your classroom.

Brooke Istas, instructor of mathematics for Cowley College and LINCS moderator, will present how educators can discover, adapt, and apply OER resources. She will share insights on which platforms and communities to join for exploring OER and accessing support, as well as recommendations for best integrating these resources into teaching plans.

To join our June 14th webinar, please register here. WebEx log-in and dial-in information will be sent in advance of the session.

We look forward to speaking with you then!
